BOARD OF DIRECTORS

K. S. BAKSHI- MANAGING DIRECTOR

He is one of the Founder Directors of the company with 50 years of professional experience, Mr. K.S Bakshi’s expertise lies in the field of Civil engineering (planning and execution), with special reference to Pavement engineering and Infrastructure development. He also has substantial experience in the development of Commercial /Residential Complexes as a component of Real Estate development. Under his Leadership, unflinching commitment to values continues to remain at the core.

CAPT P. S. SETHI – DY. MANAGING DIRECTOR

Commissioned in the Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army in 1965. He took release from the Army services in 1971 and started this company as Promoter Director. While in this Company, for the last 50 years, was directly responsible for the construction of pavement works at 39 airfields as related to the runway, taxiway and apron. He is Head of Specification team of the Company to monitor the execution of all Projects undertaken by the company.

SANJIT BAKSHI-WHOLE TIME DIRECTOR

Mr. Sanjit graduated in finance and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has a Master’s in Business Administration with majors in finance from the Columbia Business School. His advent into the Company operations has been Instrumental in accentuating the growth and strengthening of Company’s profile. He has been Responsible for Conceptualizing, Analyzing and successful Implementation of the BOT-PPP business model-based Projects, Oversees the entire EPC projects of the company while navigating a strong leadership team to drive the execution. During the last 13 years, he has spearheaded the growth of BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) portfolio of the company to a US$2.50 Billion Asset base. He is credited for having successfully instituted one of the largest Foreign Direct Investment proposals by way of “InVIT” in the Highway Infrastructure sector augmenting the portfolio with development and addition of furthermore projects. With the InVIT being oversubscribed, the Investor confidence has been evidenced on the highest level of compliances the have been adhered by Oriental while having executed and operating these Projects. The “InVIT” which is operational through Oriental Infra Trust is poised to add steady revenue stream to the Company in the present & next Partnership (PPP) domain.

MR. AMIT BURMAN-INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Mr. Amit Burman is a leading name in the business community in India and a member of the Burman family, promoter of India’s leading consumer products maker Dabur India Ltd. Mr. Burman is the Vice-Chairman of Dabur India Ltd has been involved with giving strategic direction to this FMCG behemoth. Amit has an eye to identify emerging business segments across industries, which is reflected in his several business ventures. He was the first to identify a huge potential in the processed foods and packaged juices business and went on to establish Dabur Foods. He has been the driving force behind Dabur entering the food business.

Raunaq Bakshi Kohli - DIRECTOR

Raunaq Bakshi Kohli plays a significant role in OSE, where she manages the hospitality division, with a specific focus on the hotel sector. Her responsibilities include overseeing two well-regarded establishments: Le Meridien Gurgaon and Aloft New Delhi. She is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation and excellence of these hotels, contributing to our reputation in the hospitality sector. Her meticulous and detail-oriented approach is vital to the success of these establishments, making her a valued professional in the industry. Mrs. Kohli’s leadership promotes a culture of high-quality service and guest satisfaction.

Six laning from KODUNGALLUR to EDAPALLY

We have emerged as the lowest bidder of “Six laning from KODUNGALLUR to EDAPALLY section of NH – 66 (old NH-17) from Design Ch. 397+750 (Ex. km 411.850) to Design Ch.423+780 (Ex. Ch. 343.330 of NH 47: Near 438.600 of NH 17) in the state of Kerala on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana” having a length of 26.030 Kms. for the Bid Project Cost of Rs.1617.20 Crores.

Purvanchal Expressway Project

Uttar Pradesh Government’s prestigious Purvanchal Expressway Project was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 16.11.2021, wherein OSE has successfully completed Package – 8 having a length of 47.97 Kms. for the Cost of Rs. 1621.89 Crores.

Four Laning of Poondiyankuppam-Sattanathapuram

OSE has achieved Financial Closure on 24.11.2021 for “Four Laning of POONDIANKUPPAM to SATTANATHAPURAM (Design Ch. Km.67+000 to Km 123+800) section of NH-45A in the State of Tamil Nadu under NHDP Phase-IV on Hybrid Annuity Mode” having a length of 56.80 Kms. for the Bid Project Cost of Rs. 2120.40 Crores.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway

OSE has been conferred with two prestigious Gold awards in recognition of its outstanding performance towards excellence in construction management in both EPC and PPP Sector by the National Highways Authority of India for the Eastern peripheral Expressway Pkg-V and the Nagpur Betul Highway.

Certificate of Excellence for Nagpur Betul

OSE has also been awarded the certificate of Championship for the Nagpur Betul Project in recognition of their outstanding performance towards Excellence in Construction Management (PPP.)
